April Conference: Student Debt and Financial Aid – What (if anything) Can We Do?
/NEW DATE – APRIL 17! The next CHERE conference will explore innovative strategies to address student debt and financial aid – an increasingly challenging issue facing schools, students and families in Connecticut and nationwide. The featured speaker for the program will be Sandy Baum, independent policy analyst for The College Board and Senior Fellow at the George Washington University Graduate School of Education and Human Development.
“Student Debt and Financial Aid – What (if anything) Can We Do? will be held on April 17, 2014, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on the campus of Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven. It will also feature an expert panel of college financial aid directors and a student panel, which has become a fixture at CHERE conferences.
A light breakfast and lunch, in addition to conference materials, are included in the $95 registration fee. Attendance is limited to 75 attendees.
